The Fashion Sourcing Network is proud to help continue the work of the Garment Industry Development Corporation, a non profit organization established in 1984 to strengthen and support local apparel manufacturing in New York. For the past thirty years, the Garment Industry Development Corporation has been the connection to New York's best apparel manufacturers and The Fashion Sourcing Network will continue to provide sourcing referrals to local apparel contractors and service providers as well as trim and accessories resources. We will also continue GIDC's designer development program "Showroom New York" which has provided a showroom and advisory services to over 50 fashion designers who produce locally since it's inception in December of 2007. We additionally provide training and technical assistance to New York apparel manufacturers and workers. The Fashion Sourcing Network is the link between Designers and New York's Apparel Manufacturers.
